John Green’s Paper Towns is hitting the big screens!
When it was first announced that The Fault in Our Stars would become a movie, fans of John Green were ecstatic. Turns out, fans of the famous author have something else to be excited for. Even though The Fault in Our Stars is less than 2 months away, Fox 2000 has already bought the rights to Paper Towns.
The Studio is moving along with Paper Towns and is bringing back the same team responsible for writing and producing The Fault in Our Stars. That means screen writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber are writing the script, and Wyck Godfret will be responsible for producing the film. However, during this project, John Green will hold the title of executive producer, which he was not responsible for during The Fault in Our Stars.
How could this get any better? Nat Wolff, who once stared on Nickelodeon’s hit series the Naked Brothers Band and plays Isaac in the Fault in Our Stars will be staring in the film. The 19-year old actor will play Quentin, or Q, a shy yet charming high school guy who falls for his pixie dream-girl Margo, who disappears without a trace-except for a few clues to explain her disappearance.
So far the only actor who has been cast is Nat Wolff and the character for Margo is still up for grabs. With the film coming out in 2015 fans are more than excited to see another of Green’s novels in theaters. We’ll have to wait til 2015 to see the Paper Towns movie!
