Exercising and working out is not the best things one can look forward to. Basically, it is not what our bodies ask for and in most cases we are forcing our bodies and trying to push them to the limit. Quite often we have read here and there that exercising has to be a vigorous activity in order to achieve the desired purpose of losing weight and keeping fit. Because of this reason, it is not what we can look forward to or find joy in However, throughout this article, you will get to learn how you can find joy in exercising and keeping fit.


Why are you exercising?

Find it from within yourself to answer this question. Try to focus on why you are actually exercising. Is it to lose weight? Is it to keep fit? Is it just another routine procedure? Once you have the right answer, try to focus on the end result and how you will feel once you have the final result. It wouldn’t make any sense if you are exercising just because someone else is doing it and you probably want to be like them.

Find people with the same goal as you

Finding people to work out with could beat the boredom out of you Try to find people with the same goal as they will keep you company throughout the whole session. You can even converse while you are working out, but try not to deviate from the main goal of the day. There are exercises that require help from another party, they should be able to help you out in this case.


While working out, try to use all the relevant senses like smelling, hearing and seeing. By focusing, you have your whole being involved and you will be in a better place of getting good results better than when you would have some of your senses wandering elsewhere.

Pay Attention to your Body Needs

Your body should always be your master and not your servant when it comes to working out. Do not overlook some of your body needs like drinking water, or taking deep breaths. Try to obey your body needs and you will be very surprised how things turn out Soon you will begin enjoying your sessions.

Flashback to the old days

Look back in the days when you were a child or a teenager. What did you like doing. Was it cycling? Was it jumping? Was it jogging? Chances are that you will fall in love with that activity you used to enjoy doing. Try doing it as your mode of exercising. The memories you had back then will go a long way to helping you find joy in exercising.

The above tips will go a long way in helping you find fun during the process of exercising. Try to adhere to all of them and you will be surprised by the outcome it will have on you.

    Exercise really helps how my body and mind feel. When I’m down or stressed, going for a run or taking a class at the gym really helps how I feel. If a few days go by and I haven’t exercised, I get super grumpy and very irritable. Exercising makes such a difference. Good article!
